The BAD Authority Elite upper receiver is built around a billet BAD556 receiver machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum. Integrated ambidextrous controls serve both left- and right-handed shooters. The free-float rail handguard has M-LOK attachment points at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. A full-length Picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position has a signature notch cut that aligns with the upper receiver. The 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel is coated with black nitride. Every barrel is individually head-spaced and paired with a matched 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier.
