The LMT Defense MRP-L M-LOK Railed Upper is designed to maximize performance for AR-15 platforms. It is compatible with 12.5 inch MRP barrels and other barrels 12 inches or longer. Enhancements include the removal of built-in forward QD swivels and extended length beyond traditional CQB configuration, improving ergonomics and accessory space. The spec war upper retains barrel swap capability while emphasizing a stable platform to support mounted laser aiming and illumination devices. It features an M-LOK pattern rail mounting system and a continuous Picatinny top rail. For users requiring a QD sling, a single attachment point is located at the rear of the receiver. Constructed from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, the LMT monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver integrates the receiver and handguard. The barrel is secured using a proprietary locking system with two locking bolts accessible from the right side of the receiver requiring only a standard Torx bit for tightening. This receiver is designed to accommodate the patented LMT monolithic barrel assembly, which includes a low-profile gas block with a straight gas tube.
