BRN-180 Gen3 Upper Receiver is a complete AR-15 upper receiver assembly featuring a 16 inch barrel chambered in 223 Wylde. The Gen3 redesign improves ergonomics and reliability with a nonreciprocating left-side charging handle, a sealed receiver slot, and an automatic ejection port cover. Gas system is adjustable with a three-position gas flow lever. The upper uses a robust 7075-T6 aluminum body with anodized finish and drop-on compatibility with standard mil-spec AR-15 lowers. The handguard mounting surface is redesigned for improved accessory mounting, including Ambidextrous QD sling sockets. Recoil rod retention improvements and a steel cam path within the receiver enhance durability. Muzzle device fitment is improved for 0.750" outer diameter barrels. Measurements: Barrel length 16", Overall length 24.5", Weight about 5.1 lb. Muzzle threads 1/2"x28. Model BRN-180. Finish anodized.
