BRN-15 Upper Receivers 5.56MM NATO by Brownells. Forged Mil-Spec type upper receiver with M4 feed ramps, ejection port cover and forward assist. Forged 7075-T6 upper receivers with hardcoat anodized finish. The BRN-15 Upper Receivers feature a 5.56x45mm NATO chamber and are available in several popular lengths. Models are available with Government, medium profile barrels, with the 16 inch option also available in a lightweight contour. Barrels feature a gas block dimple for secure engagement of the rear gas block screw. All barrels are stress relieved. Unique M-LOK handguard extends past the gas block for maximal real estate. Anti-rotation tabs at the rear of the handguard engage the upper receiver to prevent cant relative to the receiver Picatinny rail. Large vents aid in cooling. Forward assist pin is knurled at the front for easier future swaps.
