DPMS “Kitty Kat” complete upper assembly chambered in 300 AAC Blackout, built around a 7.5-inch nitrided chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel (1:7 twist) with an M4 barrel extension.
Features include a pistol-length gas system with an R-marked front sight gas block and an A2 flash hider. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum C7 carry-handle upper receiver is machined to mil-spec and hardcoat anodized (black), with forward assist, dust cover, and an A1-style rear sight aperture.
Bolt carrier group is included: shot-peened Carpenter 158 bolt and an 8620 steel, M16 full-auto profile carrier that is chrome-lined and phosphate coated, with a hardened, staked gas key.
