Product Description The DPMS Panther Arms Kitty Kat upper (DP51655207090) is a compact 5.56 NATO AR-style upper assembly built around a 7.5 inch nitride-finished barrel with a fast 1:7 twist and M4 barrel extension. It features a DPMS 6.5 inch quad rail free-float handguard, a .750 inch low-profile gas block, and an A2-style flash hider. The forged 7075-T6 A3 upper receiver is made to MIL-SPEC and hard coat anodized black for durability. A mil-spec bolt made from shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel is paired with a bolt carrier that is parkerized on the exterior and chrome lined on the interior, with a properly staked gas key secured by grade 8 fasteners.
