The Auto-Ordnance Thompson 1927A1 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .45 ACP that takes a 20-round stick magazine and can feed from stick or drum magazines with higher capacities. Barrel lengths include 16.5 inches or 18 inches with walnut fixed stock or black synthetic stocks. It features a blade front sight and an adjustable rear sight, and a sling mount. The fixed stock is polished American Walnut and the finned barrel compensator lengthens the 16.5 inch barrel to 18 inches in some configurations. The receiver can be blued steel or lighter-weight aluminum. Overall length is about 41 inches and weight around 13 pounds.
