Mitchell Defense The DOC AR-15 5.56mm NATO 14.5in Upper Receiver is a lightweight AR-15 upper built around a 14.5 inch barrel. It uses a 7075-T6 billet upper receiver with a thermal-fit barrel seat to improve rigidity and minimize point-of-impact shift. The ArmorLube Carbon Cutter BCG with Carpenter 158 HP/MPI bolt provides smooth, reliable cycling. A free-float M-LOK handguard offers stable accessory mounting. Finishes vary by model; standard coatings include Nitride with a Black Cerakote style protective finish. Specifications include 23.5 in overall length, 14.5 in barrel length, Mid-length gas system, twist 1-7, non-threaded, and A2 flash hider.
