The Maxim Defense MDX 505 PDX/SCW URG Upper Receiver ships with a PDX/SCW compatible bolt carrier group. It is designed to install on Mil-Spec lowers and provides a 14 inch overall length with a 5.5 inch barrel. The upper uses a Direct Impingement system and features a free-floating handguard and the Hatebrake muzzle device (1/2-28 thread for 5.56 variants; other variants may use 5/8-24). Finish is Type III Hardcoat Anodized with materials including 6AL-4V Titanium, 6061 Aluminum, 7075 Aluminum, and 17-4 Stainless Steel. Weight is approximately 4 lb. Magazine included: No. Made in USA. Compatibility: AR-15.
