Blackout Defense Complete Dual Taper Lock .223 Wylde Forward Assist Upper Receiver Group. The upper receiver and handguard are precision machined for a monolithic-like appearance with alignment pins to improve rigidity. The Dual Taper Lock (DTL) system uses two tapers and two interlocking barrel nuts to center and secure the barrel, stabilizing the bore. Upper is machined from Aerospace Grade Aluminum with anti-rotation holes; features a dust cover fully contained within the upper and a locking groove for the dust cover. Handguard provides seven sides of M-LOK mounting slots with a full-length Picatinny top rail and a clean, hidden barrel nut design. Barrel is cryogenically treated 416-R stainless steel with 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist. Threads are non-threaded, 1/2x28. BCG is not included and charging handle is not included. Mount is M-LOK. Compatible with AR-15 platforms.
