Blackout Defense Complete Upper Receiver Group

Blackout Defense complete dual taper lock upper receiver group for AR-15 platform chambered in .223 Wylde. The upper receiver and handguard are precision machined for a monolithic-like appearance with alignment pins for rigidity. The dual taper lock (DTL) system centers the barrel and tightens the upper-to-handguard interface, reducing POI shifts.

Handguard attaches with seven sides of M-LOK mounting slots and a full-length Picatinny top rail. The dust cover is fully contained within the upper receiver and locked by the barrel nut to ensure precise alignment.

Barrel: 416-R stainless steel, cryogenically treated, gun-drilled and reamed, 5R rifling, 1:8 twist. Barrel extension/barrel components designed for straight bores and improved accuracy.

Bolt Carrier Group: 8620 steel carrier with shot-peened bolt (9310 or Carpenter 158); BCG not included by default in this upper. Charging Handle: Ambidextrous design.
