Overview

The Blackout Defense Dual Taper Lock (DTL) complete upper features an upper receiver machined from aerospace grade aluminum with enhanced walls for rigidity, and a monolithic-like appearance when paired with the DTL handguard. The DTL system uses two tapers and two interlocking barrel nuts to center and lock the barrel, providing a rigid base for mounting the handguard while reducing POI shifts.
