Blackout Defense complete upper receiver group with forward assist featuring Dual Taper Lock (DTL) system. The upper/handguard are precision machined for a monolithic-like appearance with alignment pins to improve structural rigidity. The DTL system uses two taper nuts to center and stabilize the barrel during operation. Upper receiver is machined from Aerospace Grade Aluminum. Dust cover is integrated within the upper receiver. Handguard provides seven sides of M-LOK mounting and a full-length Picatinny top rail. Barrel is cryogenically treated with a 416-R stainless profile, designed for rigidity and accuracy. Bolt Carrier Group and Charging Handle are not included in the standard package contents but are implied as part of a complete upper. Caliber: .223 Wylde. Mount: M-LOK. Compatible with AR-15 platform.
