The Vltor Modular Upper Receiver (MUR) with Bolt Assist and Shell Deflector is a rigid Mil-Spec flat-top upper designed to fit AR-15/M16 M4 rifles and carbines. It features a thicker wall for increased rigidity, enhances accuracy and reliability, and extends the life of interfacing components. The MUR-1A model includes a shell deflector and forward assist, while the MUR-1S uses a one-piece machined shell deflector. Construction is aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum forging, hard coat anodized MIL-A-8625 Type III Class 2, with bore coated with dry film lubricant. Compatible with all Mil-Spec AR-15 parts and accessories. Available in multiple finishes/models (MUR-1A and without forward assist MUR-1S).
