FightLite DFX AR-15/M16/M4 12.5in Upper Receiver is a compact drop-on upper that fits MIL-Spec AR-15/M16 or M4 lowers and offers Dual-Feed capability. Dual-Feed allows feeding from M27 linked ammunition or standard box magazines at user discretion. The upper is designed for responsible armed citizens, law enforcement, and professional security personnel seeking increased performance and function. Standard features include gas-piston operation for reliability in all weather, a heavy duty free-floating fixed 12.5" barrel, and a free-floating slimline MIL-STD 1913 rail handguard for mounting lights, lasers, grips, bipods, and other accessories. The DFX bolt and barrel extension group is built to withstand sustained-fire demands. No permanent modification to the lower is required for installation and everything necessary is included with the DFX kit such as an operator's manual, recoil spring for reliable linked ammunition stripping, a modified bolt catch for use with the DFX upper, and 100 brand new USGI M27 ammunition links. The DFX upper is supported by spare parts and accessories from FightLite, backed by experienced designers and craftsmen skilled in sustained-fire weapon systems.
