MDS Mode (Motion Deactivated Standby) increases battery life by shutting down the system when not in use and instantly activates the system when it senses movement. Your sight will be up when you go into action. If you have to use your rifle in an emergency, you won't have to fiddle around with the buttons on your sight to turn it on. This optic is fully waterproof with rubber seals on the turrets and battery cap. The body is nitrogen-filled to stop fog and moisture. The battery can last up to 50,000 hours on the lowest setting.
