The one-piece bolt body is stainless steel with a nitrided finish on key components. The bolt head, gas shield, bolt handle, and bolt shroud are nitrided for extreme durability. The two-position safety is part of the TriggerTech Frictionless Release Technology. The rifle can be unloaded with the bolt handle in the safe position.
