The suppressor mounts onto the barrel by pressing it over the barrel. The spring-loaded retaining collar snaps onto the 3-Lug attachment, automatically locking the suppressor into place. It remains securely in place until the operator depresses the release to remove it. The SQD-M offers modularity and customization not seen in other suppressors to date. It comes in one size but includes a modular RBS-compatible section that can be added or removed to configure full-length or compact configurations. Two endcaps are included, one vented and the other non-vented, allowing the user to turn the RBS on or off. The design supports four different configurations. Uses B&T’s SQD, or Super Quick Disconnect Tri-Lug Attachment System.
