The SureFire SFMB-556-1/2-28 muzzle brake serves as a rock-solid mounting adapter for SureFire SOCOM Series 5.56 mm Fast-Attach suppressors. It fits M4/M16 weapons and variants with 1/2"-28 muzzle threads.
- Reduces recoil impulse and muzzle rise
- Patented Impulse Diffusion design minimizes side blast and rear-directed concussion effects
- Precision machined from US mill-certified heat-treated stainless steel bar stock
- Black Ionbond DLC coating for protection and easier cleaning
- Designed to provide multiple bearing surfaces to help ensure suppressor alignment
- Rear labyrinth seal helps minimize carbon buildup in the indexing system
- Blind pilot holes at 3 and 9 o'clock to enable fine-tuning of recoil characteristics
- Blind pilot holes at 6 o'clock to enable indexing at bottom dead center and to facilitate pin-and-weld on SBRs
