Ultradyne's Athena (UD10690) is a linear compensator for AR-10 rifles in 7.62x51 NATO, threaded 5/8x24. Gas is vented at an angle and then forward, which tames muzzle rise while pushing less sound and gas back toward the shooter. It is machined from 416 stainless steel with a black salt bath nitride finish, includes a shrouded timing nut for easy installation, and is compatible with the Ultradyne Dynamount sighting system.
