The BANISH Flash Hider functions by dispersing and redirecting the high-temperature gases that exit the muzzle upon firing. While it may help minimize the risk of detection in low-light environments, its primary purpose is to protect the shooter's vision—especially during nighttime or low-light shooting scenarios—by diminishing the blinding burst of light that typically follows a gunshot.
