FHD Flash Hiders fit Plan B type mounts. This updated version features larger wrench flats on the rear. Use an alignment rod to ensure the entire system is set up correctly. Clean all surfaces and torque the muzzle device to the barrel. When installing a suppressor, be aware it can affect warranty. Typical torque for the muzzle device is approximately 30 ft-lbs; ensure the muzzle device is square against the barrel shoulder and rockset to the barrel. For suppressor use, torque to about 10 ft-lbs and recheck alignment. The nitride finish provides a tight seal; timing may require shims if the barrel does not provide a thread relief.
