The XTS AR-15/AR-10 Forward Assist Assembly helps push the bolt carrier assembly off the front of the upper receiver.

The forward assist on the AR-10 is the same as that found on most AR-15 rifles. The assembly makes it easy to move the bolt carrier assembly off of the front of the upper to allow removal of the forward assist trigger mechanism.

It also enables the user to move the bolt carrier group out of the way to allow manual operation of the bolt carrier.
