Forward Controls Design CNF 17-4 Stainless Castle Nut (Black, Nitride)

Overview

CNF (Castle Nut, Forward Controls) is based on the TDP spec castle nut with the following changes:

• Staking notch angle changed from 45° to 30°, resulting in longer (25% longer than TDP spec) and deeper notches
• Staking notches increased from 3 to 4, spaced equally on the CNF
• Castle nut is intended to be staked in two places; the 4 notches provide more staking location options (at all times, 3 notches are visible and available for staking)
• Coarse serrations on the wrench side for easier installation while rotating the CNF toward the end plate
