Sinclair Chamber Plug - 308 Family Chamber Plug

This chamber plug seals the chamber and bore to prevent solvents and oils from running back into the action when the rifle is left in an upright position.

Use

  • Seal the chamber, then fill the barrel with your preferred solvent.
  • Let the barrel sit for a period of time (for overnight storage, seal the muzzle end with tape to prevent evaporation).
  • Ensure the barrel is filled all the way to the muzzle end.

Purpose

Helps during barrel soaking/cleaning by containing fluids within the barrel rather than allowing them to travel into the action.
