  • Based on the TDP spec castle nut with changes: staking notch angle changed from 45 to 30 degrees, resulting in longer (25% longer than TDP spec) and deeper notches.
  • Four staking notches spaced equally; the castle nut is intended to be staked in two places, with three notches visible at any time.
  • Coarse serrations on the wrench side to aid rotation during installation.
