The Caldwell Swivel Stud to Picatinny Rail Adapter Plate converts the forward sling swivel stud on a rifle into a 3-slot Picatinny rail for attaching accessories such as tactical or hunting lights, forward grips, or Picatinny-style bipods.

A rear-facing horizontal sling swivel stud still permits use of a sling with the accessory. The vertical angle can be changed to properly align a light or laser by adjusting tension on the screws.
