Oversize firing pin stop for rear sight cut for 1911 pistols. Wider than standard to prevent extractor from turning, which improves reliability of ejection. Thicker to reduce lateral movement. Inside corners radiused to prevent cracking and extend life. Back corner has a .015 inch radius to break the corner but maintains a square edge to slow the slide opening. Rockwell hardness approximately 48 Rc. This part is not drop-in and must be fitted for use in 1911 slides. Series 80 stops will work in Series 70 guns, and Series 70 stops will only work in Series 70 guns.
