Enhanced vertical trigger guard for AR-15 designed to go over the magazine well and allow cocking the magazine without removing the trigger guard. The vertical bar is long enough to accommodate oversized magazine release button, enabling one-handed engagement of the mag release. The vertical bar can also be used to support the safety on the opposite side of the trigger guard for added strength. For the safety, a hammer with a rounded surface is recommended to prevent finger travel damage.
