Sinclair chamber plug for .223 Remington.

This unique product seals the chamber and bore to prevent solvents and oils from running back into the action when the rifle is left upright.

Use case (barrel cleaning): seal the chamber and fill the barrel with your preferred solvent, then allow it to sit for a while. If you leave it overnight, seal the muzzle end with tape to help prevent evaporation.

Make sure you fill the barrel all the way to the muzzle end when using solvent soaks.
