Sinclair O-Ring Rod Guides for 223 Family centerfire bore guide

Our Centerfire Cleaning Rod Guides are designed to insert into your action in place of your bolt or bolt carrier.

They feature a snout with a silicone "O"-ring that inserts into your chamber, sealing the barrel off from the receiver. The "O"-ring prevents solvents from leaking back into the action area and gumming up the trigger assembly.

These rod guides are machined to fit specific actions and cartridge families from .17 up to .338 caliber. Some cartridges do not lend themselves to an O-ring style rod guide; for those, Sinclair recommends an Adjustable Cone Style Rod Guide.

Sinclair O-ring rod guides have been upgraded to include integral solvent ports on every centerfire bolt action rod guide and nearly all AR style rod guides. If you prefer a rod guide without an integral solvent port, contact Sinclair for a semi-custom option (typically 2–4 weeks).
