Overview

The Geissele Suppressor Alignment Gage (SAG) is a precision gauge used to verify the alignment of a suppressor to the bore of a firearm barrel.

Why alignment matters

Because suppressors are typically much longer than the barrel and the muzzle device/suppressor interface, small deviations at the mounting interface can create much larger deviations at the suppressor exit hole.

Notes

Deviations from nominal can also be additive, compounding suppressor misalignment.
