What is the 5 Degree Chamfer Cutter?

Brownells 5° chamfer cutter provides a super gentle chamfer angle used by Ruger on their .38/.357 DA guns.

Use it to set back a Ruger barrel or to duplicate this 5° throat angle on other barrels.

Notes

You cannot use 18° or 11° cutters on a 5° throat without exceeding maximum throat diameter or creating a compound angle.
