Brownells barrel vise and bushing set developed to clamp the barrel and keep it from turning during removal/installation.

Specifications

• Vice blocks: Steel, blued
• Top block: 4-1/2 in x 3 in x 1-1/2 in
• Bottom block: 7 in x 3 in x 1-1/8 in
• (4) 1/2-20 x 2 in Allen head bolts
• Bottom block drilled and countersunk for 1/2 in mounting bolts
• Bushings: C.R.S. steel (blued finish) or 6160 aluminum (natural finish)
• Bushing length: 3 in
• Bushing outside diameter: 1-3/4 in
• Bushings (selected):
  • #4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11: inside diameters to closely match the shank diameter of most rifle barrels
  • #5: fits Mauser 98 barrels
  • #6: tapered to fit Remington factory .30-06 Sporter and similar profile barrels
  • #12 & 13: machined for standard and heavy M1 Garand/M14 and M1A barrels
  • #15: for the FN FAL
  • #16: aluminum bushing for 3/4 in octagonal barrels
