MDT 102014BLK AICS Magazine 5rd 308/6.5 Creedmoor Short Action, Black Steel with Binder Plate. MDT 102014-BLK magazines use a Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design to reduce overall height. Made from high strength steel, nitrided, with Cerakote Elite finish inside and outside for durability, corrosion resistance, and friction reduction. SPECIFICATIONS: outside length 3.055, max cartridge overall length with binder plate 2.870 COAL, rear height 2.52. COMPATIBILITY: 308 WIN, 6mm Creedmoor, 243 WIN, 260 Rem, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08 Win, 308/7.62x51 NATO, 22-250 Rem (will work at a reduced capacity). BINDER Plate DETAILS: compatible with all rifles using AICS-pattern bottom metal or chassis systems. The binder plate holds cartridges back from the front of the magazines and guides them past the bottom of the feed ramp. Maximum COAL is 2.870; most common actions such as Remington 700 and Savage 10/11 will require modifications to the receiver to prevent bullet tips from catching on the feed ramp.
