Ruger AR-556 MPR Long Range Package is a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO (.223 Rem) with an 18 inch chrome-moly steel barrel (16.1" without muzzle device), 1:8 twist, M4-profile, and threaded muzzle 1/2-28 compatible with muzzle devices and suppressors. Features include adjustable 6-position Magpul-style stock, ergonomic polymer pistol grip, polymer handguard with accessory rails or Picatinny top rail, Ruger SR-style flip-up sights, optics-ready rails, and a detachable 30-round magazine. Overall length 36 inches, weight ~6.5–7 lb. Finish: black.
