The CZ Bren 2 MS AR pistol in 5.56x45mm NATO features an aluminum upper receiver and a carbon fiber reinforced polymer lower for weight savings. It uses a non-reciprocating charging handle that can be swapped from side to side and also functions as a forward assist. Ambidextrous controls include bolt catch/release on both sides, with the magazine release and safety also ambidextrous. In pistol form, a flush rear plate allows attaching an AR-style buffer tube for stabilization devices. Compatible with AR-15 magazines for .223 variants, the modular forend can be adjusted to various lengths. Caliber 5.56x45mm NATO, 30+1 capacity, overall length 19.90 inches.
