ELG stands for Enhanced Longitudinal Grind. The trigger is longitudinally-ground in-line with the direction of pull along the long axis of the trigger, and finish-polished. This grind and polish provide two significant advantages over standard mil-spec kits. First, a smoother pull with reduced grittiness and second, an enhanced basis for performing a trigger job. The Enhanced Longitudinal Grind AR-15 Lower Parts Kit includes foundational parts for the LPK minus the Trigger Guard, Grip, and Fire Control Assemblies. The kit is phosphate coated.
