The Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard from V Seven Weapon Systems is constructed with a blend of aluminum and magnesium alloys, resulting in a 30% weight reduction over ordinary all-aluminum handguards. V Seven uses a plasma deposition finishing process that gives each Magnesium Hyper-Light KeyMod Handguard a tough, ceramic-like coating with wear resistance far superior to traditional anodizing.
