- The 556 SWITCH Rail – BAD Edition is the result of a collaboration between Battle Arms Development, Inc. and Fortis Manufacturing.
- This rail is a continuous, lightweight Picatinny rail machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.
- It features M-LOK at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions and KeyMod at the 6 o'clock position.
- Locking handle: 7075-T6 Aluminum; internal diameter: 1.34 inches.
- Rotation-limited QD sockets.
- 4140 heat-treated barrel nut (1-7/16 x 16 TPI).
- Clamp torque setting: 20 in-lbs; spanner wrench needed to torque the barrel nut to spec (not included).
- The rail is Mil-Spec anodized and made in the USA.
