The Hera Arms IRS Handguard uses an integral design with a reduced diameter and a dedicated barrel nut.

- Interchangeable across Hera handguard generations/models for a consistent platform
- Compatible with AR-15/M4 platforms using the IRS barrel nut system
- Can also be used on platforms with barrel nut threads compatible with AR-15/M4
