Magpul Zhukov-U Hand Guard is a shortened, modernized upgrade for AK-47 and AK-74 pattern rifles. Measuring approximately 1.5 inches shorter than the standard Zhukov handguard, it is optimized for shorter barrels and pistols while keeping full-length rifles lively. A full-length aluminum chassis provides strength and heat mitigation, while a durable injection-molded polymer exterior delivers comfortable ergonomics. The Zhukov-U includes M-LOK slots for direct accessory mounting and a vented gas tube cover, accepts the standard AK cleaning rod, and remains fully compatible with the UltiMAK gas tube rail. Installation requires removal of the factory handguard retainer. Made in the USA and counts as one 922(r) compliance part.
