Magpul Zhukov-U AK-47/AK-74 Handguard description: A shortened, performance-focused upgrade for AK-47/AK-74 pattern rifles. 1.5 inches shorter than the standard Zhukov handguard, it improves handling on short-barreled builds while keeping full-length rifles lively. A robust, full-length aluminum chassis provides strength and heat mitigation, wrapped in a durable, injection-molded polymer exterior for comfort and superior ergonomics. It features M-LOK slots for direct accessory mounting, a vented gas tube cover, and is compatible with the UltiMAK gas tube rail. Designed to accept the standard AK cleaning rod, the Zhukov-U installs by removing the factory handguard retainer and counts as one U.S. 922(r) compliance part. Made in the USA.
