Product Description The Bravo Company BCM MCMR-8 is a lightweight, M-LOK compatible modular rail handguard built around BCM’s proven barrel nut and lock-up design first introduced with the KMR series. Precision machined from aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, this free-float handguard delivers excellent strength-to-weight with a slim, proprietary profile for added cross-sectional rigidity. A patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691) provides a mechanical index to the 12 o’clock rail and positions mounting hardware to help mitigate shift from heat generated during firing. Designed for AR-15 platforms in 5.56, the MCMR-8 is optimized for pistol-length or carbine-length gas systems when used with a low-profile gas block, and includes the steel barrel nut plus factory hardware and tools for installation.
