Magpul MAG551-BLK MOE SL Mid-Length Hand Guard AR-Platform Black Polymer

Made in the USA, the MOE SL Mid-Length Hand Guard for AR15/M4 firearms with mid-length gas system and A2 front sight provides modular flexibility with M-LOK accessory slots at the 2, 6, and 10 o'clock positions. Reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction provides operational durability without the weight and expense of an aluminum rail hand guard, with an integral riveted aluminum heat shield. M-LOK slots allow attachment of optional Picatinny rail sections and direct-attach M-LOK accessories for mounting tactical lights, slings, grips, etc. A large front extension and lower lip protects the user from the hot front sight assembly and maximizes usable hand guard length. Easy to install utilizing existing delta ring and round front hand guard retaining cap with A2 front sight assembly. Note: Mid-Length MOE SL Hand Guard is a direct replacement for most factory plastic mid-length hand guards and requires a ROUND front hand guard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. Not compatible with piston operated AR platforms. Must be used with the A2 front sight assembly as other gas blocks are not compatible. If so equipped, the factory sling swivel must be removed from the A2 front sight assembly.
