Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard is a direct replacement for standard AK-47/AKM/AK-74 pattern rifles with a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer. It features an extended gripping portion, reinforced heat-resistant polymer construction, an integrated heat shield, M-LOK mounting capability, and a replacement gas tube cover. The hand guard has slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions for mounting direct-attach M-LOK accessories or M-LOK 1913 Picatinny rail sections. It accepts factory cleaning rod and includes a replacement polymer top cover compatible with UltiMAK Optics Mount top cover. Not compatible with Yugoslav milled receivers, RPK style receivers, or milled receivers. The Hand Guard counts as one US 922(r) compliant part. Made in USA.
