The Geissele Super Modular Rail MK8 (05-284S) is a 9.3" free-float M-LOK handguard in Desert Dirt aluminum, with the barrel nut included. M-LOK slots sit at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and the upper 45° quadrants, venting in the lower 45° quadrants sheds heat and weight, and a full-length Picatinny top rail handles optics. Geissele's proprietary long barrel nut gives extra contact with the receiver so the rail returns true after maintenance. It weighs 8.4 oz bare and 10.3 oz with the nut.
