The Lyman Series 17A Target Front Sights are steel AR-15 front sights. Includes a set of 8 interchangeable inserts. The 17AMI height is .494 inches for low mounting near the barrel. The 17ATC height is .852 inches for rifles using a tall vernier rear sight. All 17 sights are machined from steel and use a standard 3/8 dovetail. The 17 family is designed for AR-15 front sight mounting with a 3/8 dovetail. Note: 17AEU uses the European dovetail for Lyman muzzleloaders.
