Overview

The Glock 23 combines compact dimensions for both open and concealed carry with minimum weight. It features Glock's Safe Action system for a consistent trigger pull. The frame is polymer with hardened steel guides. The slide surface treatment provides reduced wear and tear and corrosion resistance, including in saltwater conditions. The matte surface minimizes light reflection.

The mechanically locked, cold-hammer forged barrel uses the same advanced surface treatment as the slide. The extractor serves as a loaded chamber indicator.

Gen5 features include nDLC surface finish, frame texture, a reversible magazine catch, ambidextrous slide stop lever, and the GLOCK Modular Backstrap System.
