Overview

The Glock 17 Gen 5 is designed for reliable operation at the range and in the field. It features a textured grip without finger grooves, a flared mag-well for easier reloading, a reversible enlarged magazine catch, and an ambidextrous slide stop lever. The rifling and crown of the barrel are modified for increased precision. The pistol uses Glock’s Safe Action system with three automatic independently operating mechanical safeties built into the fire control system. The frame is polymer with hardened steel guides, and the mechanically locked, cold-hammer-forged barrel is treated for durability and corrosion resistance.
